VISITING BRIXEN AND BRUNECK
Should you fancy a walk on cobbled alleys rather than grassy footpaths, the towns of Brixen and Bruneck with their rich cultural offer are only around 30 minutes away by car. There, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of medieval old towns and visit the many cultural sights, or perhaps enjoy a stroll through the Christmas market stalls. Whatever the time of year, you won’t regret it.

FOR CULTURE VULTURES
In ancient times, where did the knights live? And how is the traditional South Tyrolean loden made? Visit Castle Rodenegg in Rodeneck and the Loden Museum in Vintl to find out and learn much more about the history of South Tyrol.

FESTIVALS AND EVENTS
There’s something for every taste! The Pfundra Kirschta is an excellent occasion for you to participate in a traditional South Tyrolean parish festival, while the Gitschberg Rockt rock festival in December and March will rock your world and the Alpine huts on the snowy expanses of the local ski area. If you’re travelling with your children, you don’t want to miss the Happy Family Festival in February. Other events include the cattle drive procession in autumn, the Christmas markets in December and the Water & Light Festival in Brixen.
